We're currently not planning to support iSight barcode scanning in Checkout.

Click Manage Checkout Stores... under the Checkout menu in Checkout to open the Store Administration window. Next, select your store in the list on the left and click the Backup button to backup you store database.
Checkout does not support the compounded tax systems of Saskatchewan, Quebec and Prince Edward Island, in which the PST is applied over the original price + GST. It does work with sales tax rates in other regions of Canada. We are planning to add support for compounded taxes in a future release.
No, Checkout does not currently generate barcodes. You can use the barcodes your supplier provides on purchased products by scanning them into the 'Barcode' field in the Product Manager, or enter something else like the product's code to generate them from. Functionality to print product labels with barcodes is planned for a future minor update.
