Is it possible to check reports remotely online while being away from the store? And I don't want to use remote desktop or anything like that. I want to be able to check when my computer is turned off and my store isn't open.

    Noel,

The data file for your Checkout store is located on the hard drive of the computer at your store. Without leaving the computer on and doing a remote desktop connection, the only other way to access thestore file information from another location would be to bring a copy home with you. Your computer at home would need a registered copy of Checkout installed to open the Checkout Store. You could purchase an additional license for your home computer, or deactivate the Checkout License on the store computer before leaving, and activate the license on your home computer. The easiest way is to backup the store at the store, make a copy and bring the store file home to restore on your computer there. You would need to deactivate the home license in order to activate the store license to use at the store.

    Regards,

What about getting your staff to create your required report or reports at the end of the day and saving them to google drive or some other cloud based server that you can access from anywhere? They could do this as a daily routine.

I have my manager update an excel file with the daily sales totals. This file is stored on dropbox so it autoupdates my computer at home as well as my phone.
