Hi there
Is there a way to do a return without the buyer providing the receipt?
It is possible that I sold something discounted, so that really makes it very difficult to find the product

Currently all I know is that you have to lookup the sales around the day/time the customer bought it. Also try looking up the customer's info (if saved) and find it under their purchases.

    Hi Wendy
Well I guess I should have mentioned that I don't the client's info. It is just hard to get that info when I sell a product.
It's kind of difficult to look of the purchase around the date it took place when there is a possible discount applied.
    Anyone from Checkout customer support?

you can search all invoices by scanning the barcode of the item you sold. This may or may not work depending how many of this particular item you have sold.

You should run the Discounts Given and Price Exception reports. Each will give you details about Products and Invoice #'s where a discount was given or a price was changed on a line item.
