Removing stock from a primary product

Hi,

Is it possible to make a stockable product, non-stockable, to clean up the stock reports? Here's an example of what I mean.

I have a product called "Red Jumper" that I sell. I don't really care about the individual sizes, I just sell the jumper and track the total number of jumpers I have in stock. I decide at a later date that I'd rather be tracking the stock on a per size basis. So, I remove the stock from the "Red Jumper" item (stock correction), create variations for "Small", "Medium" and "Large" and add the stock back onto the correct new variation.

However, when I run a stock report, the original "Red Jumper" item still appears, even without stock. Is there a way I can remove this from the reports?

Andy.

    Andy,

The original Red Jumper will always show on the Stock Report. The Stock Report shows all items that were setup to have physical stock and their on hand quantities including zero. I'm not sure if this is something that can be flagged or to be omitted from the report, however I have added to our list for you.

    Regards,
