One day of Checkout sales will go to help in Japan. Read on at the Checkout blog

We were shocked to hear about the earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan. Our thoughts are with everybody who was hurt in this horrible event.

To try and help, we will donate all of today’s Checkout sales to charities that are making a difference in Japan right now. If you were ready to buy a copy of Checkout, but still have some days left in your trial, or if you could use an additional copy in your store, we’d like to ask you to seriously consider buying today so we can donate 100% of your purchase to relief efforts in Japan. Or alternatively, please consider donating directly.

Any sales between the moment this post has gone live and 9am (GMT) this Thursday, March 24, will be split between Doctors Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity and the Japanese Red Cross.

Sadly, because this is all so last minute, we won’t be able to include sales from our partners or from retail stores in this action. So to participate, make sure you get Checkout directly from our website.
