Barcode printing
While I love how checkout makes is super easy to print barcodes, it would be nice if the barcodes printed could be a bit smaller.
The smallest size that i can print them at is on a 3/4" x 2"
label on my Dymo printer (which seems to print not as clear as a
laser but thats another story) I wish there was a way to print
smaller sized barcodes so they don't take up as much space on our
smaller products. When I say smaller I'm talking about width. 2" is
pretty huge compared to the standard 1" x 1" on retail products
that you normally see.
These are all standard 12 digit barcodes.
thank you for your consideration.

I take this back, I spent more time playing with the custom option and margins and see that I can scale the barcodes to my liking. I hope this might help someone else out there.

I would like to see an option of being able to customize the labels a bit more. If i'm using the label for a shelf tag...the price could be made bigger independently of the rest of the label. (Font sizes for each section)

Conor,
Thank you for your inquiry. As a point of sale system, Checkout prints barcode labels, but does not have the flexibility to print small jewelry sized labels, as a label printing software would. We would recommend using the Dymo label printing software that comes with the printer to provide you with the flexibility that you are looking for.

Michelle,
Thanks for the reply, I was actually thinking more along the lines of price tags for scanner pegs. I wanted to be able to make the price bigger so its easier to see but still have a smaller barcode and item name so that when its time to do inventory we can just scan the tag on the peg.
I have attached a sample of something similar....see how the price is independently bigger than the rest of the label. that would be a nice feature as well as being able to move the text boxes around.

Conor,
I am sorry, there are no options to customize font sizes on labels in Checkout. We recommend for printing labels in anything than other the standard format in Checkout, to use label printing software for customizing the labels.

Michele
