Product Sales Report - Possible Error ?
Dear All
I think there may be an error in the Product Sales Detail report (a custom report from the 'Extras' page of the website).
The calculation of the cost figure on the invoice line seems to be squaring the quantity of products and multiplying the result by the cost per product.
e.g. 3 products costing £10 each are being calculated to cost 3 x 3 x 10 = £90.
This is inflating the cost of invoice lines where number of products is > 1 which is in turn impacting the margin figure on this report.
Cheers!
Phil

Phil,
I am sorry that you are having this problem. Can you confirm what build of Checkout that you are using. From the Checkout Menu (top left hand corner) About Checkout will show your build. It should be 3.5.7. If it is not, from the Checkout Menu, click on Check for Updates. You should be able to download the latest build 3.5.7 and run the report again.

Hi Michele,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm not at my shop right now and I'm not sure of the version of Checkout that I'm running. I updated it in Jan if that helps.
However, the report I'm having problems with is a custom report from the Extras page on Checkoutapp.com, not one of the standard reports built in to Checkout.
Would the version of Checkout have any influence on the behaviour of the custom report?
Regards
Phil

Hi Phil,
Can you delete the report from Checkout and re-download it from the Extras page? This report has been fixed and uploaded to the extras page.
Thanks,
James

Many thanks James,
The new version is working fine.
Is there any chance of creating one of these reports based on orders (excluding quotes) please?? It would be really useful for us.
Regards
Phil
