Cancelled Orders and Unactioned Quotes
Hi All,
What do you recommend we do with order records that are cancelled for whatever reason and quotes that are never converted to orders or sales? These are currently in our orders queue which causes problems when reporting live orders as it's difficult to differentiate between live and non-live orders.
I don't want to lose these records completely as I don't want to lose the completeness of the data just in case the customer returns eventually. Any advice on what users should or are currently doing with these orders and quotes would be appreciated.
Also I really, Really REALLY!! :o) want an orders detail report that gives all order line information (and excludes quotes) in the report. Any clues on where to start with this please? I've looked at creating my own custom report but it looks like I need better coding skills than I have available and also we have no information on the table schemas making a report even more difficult to script.

Hello Phil,
I would recommend converting the cancelled open orders to quotes. You can differentiate between orders and quotes in the listing. We do not have information on customizing reports.
