Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

To create a Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) or change tax a group that has a GST and PST to an HST in Checkout:

• Make a backup of the store before changing any taxes
• Go into the Tax group that contains the GST and PST rates
• Create a 3rd rate, HST, with the Harmonized rate
• Delete the GST and PST entries

The Tax Report will still break out the GST and PST taxes collected, but they'll show with a 0% (as will any Invoices that had the PST and GST tax rates on them).
