Customer Import/Export Fields

The following fields are available when customer records are exported from Checkout.

The following fields are used when importing Customer Records into Checkout from a tab-delimited or comma-separated text file.

Exporting to Contacts

To export Customer Records from Checkout and import them into Address Book:

In Checkout, select File > Export Customers, saving the export file as vCards.

In Address Book, select File > Import, then select the file you exported from Checkout; click Open. Change any field matching that meets your needs. Select OK.

Notes:

vCards

If you have a vCard containing one or more Customers, select File > Import Customers, and select the vCard file. Checkout will automatically do the field matching when you select Import.

Importing File Format

Checkout will import text files with .csv, .tsv and .txt extensions. In the case of files with the latter, .txt extension, the format of the file contents can be either comma-separated or tab-delimited.
