macOS 10.12 Sierra Compatibility
Update: October 14, 2024
We have found that there are issues attempting to import Checkout 3 stores into Checkout 4 using macOS Sierra. This only seems to be an issue when attempting to have Checkout 4 import the databases directly on Sierra. If you make a backup in Checkout 3 and then restore that backup using Checkout 4 this works correctly.
Update: September 12, 2024
As of right now there are a few known issues with Checkout 4 and macOS 10.12 Sierra. We will continue to test the software and will post more details after the new operating system is officially released. Currently, we suggest not updating to macOS 10.12 Sierra until these issues are resolved.
There is an issue with attempting to close the Getting Started Screen (if you check the box that reads "Don't Show This Window Again" Checkout will crash but the window won't open on restart).
There are further issues that will be worked on and resolved in further Checkout updates.
Please continue to check this page for updated information on macOS 10.12 Sierra and Checkout 4 compatibility.
NOTE: Checkout 3 is NOT compatible with macOS 10.12 Sierra and has only been tested up through Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks). This was the last OS version that Checkout 3 was officially compatible with. We've had a number of users who have attempted to use Checkout 3 on macOS Sierra and it does not work. You would either need to go back to your previous operating system or purchase the newer Checkout 4.
