Checkout Report Gallery

Report Name Description
Count Sheet Provides a listing of all products and the amount of stock for each of those products. When printed, it provides a good starting point for doing a physical inventory count. Field Descriptions:
  • Brand - Provides the brand name linked to the product
  • Code - Provides the product code
  • Name - Provides the product name
  • Description - Provides a description of the product
  • Stock - Indicates how many are in stock as of the ending date on the date selector
Customers This report provides an overview of customer activity. Field Descriptions:
  • Name - Customer name
  • Company - Company name if applicable
  • ZIP Code - Pulls the ZIP code for the billing address
  • City - Pulls the city from the billing address
  • Invoices - A count of how many invoices this customer has
  • Sales - Total amount of sales linked to this customer
  • Margin - Actual margin for each sale, then totaled by customer
Discounts Given Provides details of discounted sales processed through Checkout. (This will only report on recorded invoices and sales (orders do not appear).) Field Descriptions:
  • Code - Provides the product code discounted
  • Name - Provides the product name from the Invoice
  • Invoice - The invoice number that was discounted
  • Date - The date of the invoice that was discounted
  • Employee - Employee that rang up the discounted sale
  • Customer - Customer that received discount (if attached)
  • Quantity - Per line qty (Pulls directly from the Qty line on the invoice)
  • List Price - The Retail Price setup within Manager > Products
  • Inv Price - The price pulled from the invoice
  • Disc % - The percentage that was discounted on the sale
  • Disc Amt - The dollar amount that was discounted/saved
Employees Total sales by employee (pulls from recorded Sales/Invoices). Field Descriptions:
Summary:
  • Employee - Employee name
  • Invoices - Number of per employee invoices (within the date range)
  • Sales - Per employee totals
  • Margin - The margin (actual) of the sales
  • Total with Tax - Provides the total of all invoices including the tax on invoices
Detail:
  •   #   - Number of products sold in the date range
  • Name - Name of product sold (Pulled from Manager > Products rather than the invoice)
  • Code - Product Code sold (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Sales - Total $ amount of sales for this particular product
  • Margin - Total $ margin (actual) for this particular product
End of Day Provides a daily overview of the activity, including total invoices, taxes and payments received. Also breaks down terminal activity, showing which employees made sales at each terminal, and provides details from the till counts at each terminal. Because of its format, this report is not exportable. Field Descriptions:
  • Store Total - Displays total invoice count, including starting and ending invoice numbers for the day.
  • Taxes - Displays a break down of taxes and the dollar amount collected.
  • Payments - Displays a break down of payment methods taken in for the day and the total dollar amount and times it occurred.
  • Totals per Till - Displays till (cash) information for the day and any discrepancies from a till count. Nothing is displayed until a Till Count is performed.
Orders Provides a list of orders in the system. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Order date
  • Order # - Order number
  • Customer - Customer assigned to the order
  • Employee - Employee who generated/created the order
  • Margin - Displays the margin/profit (sales) from your default cost vs your invoice sale price
  • Subtotal - Subtotal of all products + shipping on the order
  • Taxes - Taxes will be displayed and reported in the appropriate tax column
  • Total - Subtotal plus all Taxes is the Total
  • Deposit - Dollar amount deposited on the order
Payments Provides a total amount of payments received on a daily basis for a specified date range, and then breaks them out by payment type. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Date of the Payment
  • Bank Transfer - Total dollar amount in payments received via Bank Transfer payments
  • Cash - Total dollar amount in payments received via Cash payments
  • Change - Total dollar amount in Change returned
  • Check - Total dollar amount in payments received via Check payments
  • Credit Card - Total dollar amount in payments received via Credit Card payments
  • Debit Card - Total dollar amount in payments received via Debit Card payments
  • Online Credit Card - Total dollar amount in payments received through Credit Card payments on Enstore (I should see if this is specific to Forte payments)
  • Web Store - Total dollar amount in payments received from Enstore
  • Total - Total of all payments received that day
Pending Invoices Shows all invoices created within the specified date range that are still awaiting payment. This report is perfect for collections purposes or to provide a quick look at what is owed. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Date of the invoice
  • Open - Number of days it's been open since creating the invoice til now (Note: I should check to see if it needs to be +24 hours from date of invoice to increase the day number)
  • Customer - Name of customer assigned to the pending invoice (if applicable)
  • Invoice # - Invoice number recorded in the system
  • Invoiced - Dollar amount of the invoice
  • Unpaid - Remaining dollar amount left to be paid
Performance Breaks down the total number of invoices, sales margin (based on default cost), actual margin (based on purchased cost), average sale amount and total amount of sales in a daily format using the specified date range. If exported to Excel, a great tool to graph sales trends. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Provides the date of the details
  • Invoice Count - Number of invoices on that day
  • Sales - Total dollar amount in sales for the day
  • Margin - Total margin (actual) profit for the day
  • Sales (Graph) - Graph data of the Sales number
  • Margin (Graph) - Graph data of the Margin (actual)
Performance By Brand Provides sales performance information categorized by brand. Field Descriptions: Summary section:
  • Brand - Name of the brand (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Quantity Sold - How many widgets of this particular brand sold (not specific to one item number)
  • Revenue - Dollar amount in sales for all products that have this brand
  • % of Revenue - Percentage of revenue based upon all brands
Detail section:
  • Product - Product Name (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Quantity Sold - How many times this product sold in the date range
  • Revenue - Dollar amount in sales for this particular product
  • % of Brand Revenue - Percentage of revenue for this product by brand
Performance by Tag Provides sales performance information categorized by tags. Field Descriptions: Summary:
  • Tag - Lists all tags attached to all products (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Quantity Sold - How many times a product sold with this brand (Note: This number might be duplicated/skewed depending on multiple tags)
  • Revenue - Dollar amount in sales for this particular tag
  • % of Revenue - Percentage of revenue for this tag
Detail:
  • Product - Product Name (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Quantity Sold - How many times this product sold in the date range
  • Revenue - Dollar amount in sales for this particular product
  • % of Tag Revenue - Percentage of revenue for this product by tag
Price Exceptions Shows all sales that have had their price (price column) changed from the default price setup on the product. Does not report on Quotes or Orders, only Invoices/Sales. Field Descriptions:
  • Code - Product Code (Pulled from the Invoice/Sale)
  • Name - Product Name (Pulled from the Invoice/Sale)
  • Invoice - Invoice number that had the exception
  • Date - Date of the recorded invoice
  • Employee - Employee who made the sale
  • Customer - Customer linked to the sale
  • Quantity - How many items sold (Pulled from the qty line of the invoice)
  • List Price - Item price from the Manager > Products
  • Inv Price - Price charged on the invoice
  • Difference - Difference between the Inv price and the List Price
Processed Payments Provides each credit card payment processed directly through Checkout for a specified date range. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Date of payment
  • Invoice # - Invoice number linked with the payment (Displays if current status is invoice)
  • Order # - Order number linked with the payment (Displays if current status is order - Deposit was received)
  • Type - Type of card
  • Customer - Name on Card (This pulls from the Credit Card Name)
  • CC 4 digits - Last 4 digits on card
  • CC Type - Type of card (VISA, MC, DISC, AMEX)
  • Approval Code - Approval Code from Forte
  • Total - Total dollar amount sent for authorization
Products by Brand Provides sales data categorized by brand. Field Descriptions:
  • Brand - Brand Name (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Product - Product Name (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Amount - Total amount of this product selling
  • Total per product - Total dollar amount of this product sold
  • % per Product - Percentage of the product that has sold (compared against brand)
  • Total Qty - Total number of branded products sold
  • Total - Dollar amount total by brand
  • % per Brand - Percentage totaled up by brand
Products by Tag Provides sales data categorized by tag. Field Descriptions:
  • Tag - Pulls the first tag attached to the product (Pulled from Manager > Products > Web Store)
  • Product - Pulls the product name (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Amount - Pulls the qty sold in the date range of the report
  • Total per Product - Dollar amount per product
  • % per Product - Percentage of the product that sold
  • Total Qty - Total number of products sold for this tag
  • Total - Total dollar amount of all sales for this tag
  • % per Tag - Percentage of sales reported with this tag
Products Sold A comparison between the number of units sold and returned within a specified date range. This report is broken down both by item and by day, giving a broad overview of best and worst performing products. Field Descriptions:
  • Brand - Pulls the brand from the product sold (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Code - Pulls the product code that sold (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Name - Pulls the product name that sold (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Web Sale Quantity - Quantity sold from downloaded orders through Enstore
  • Retail Sales Quantity - Quantity sold from Checkout
  • Returned - (negative) Quantity sold from Checkout
  • Margin - Margin (actual) profit from purchase price vs sale price
  • Net Web Sales - Dollar amount of sales online
  • Net Retail Sales - Dollar amount of sales in store
  • Total Net Sales - Dollar amount of Web and Retail sales
Sales Lists all sales within the indicated date range. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Date of Sale
  • Invoice # - Invoice number pulled from sale
  • Customer - Customer linked to sale
  • Employee - Employee who rang up the sale
  • Margin - Margin (actual) profit from purchase price vs sale price
  • Subtotal - Subtotal dollar amount of the sale
  • Total - Subtotal plus taxes
Stock Provides an overview of the status of your inventory. Field Descriptions:
  • Code - Product Code (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Name - Product Name (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Brand - Product Brand (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Ordered - Amount currently on Sales Orders and Quotes
  • Allocated - Amount allocated against Orders/Invoices
  • Stock - Current stock quantity (Pulled from Manager > Products, doesn't include allocated items)
  • Needed - Displays the current needed amount to reach the minimum (Does calculation from report & minimum field [Formula: Stock (from report) - Ordered (from report) - minimum (Manager > Products) = needed column on report)
  • Default Cost - Displays the cost setup on the product (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Cost - Displays the cost associated on the PO (Depending on the store setup, this will either be the Avg Cost or FIFO number being used)
  • Stock Value - The total value of the stock (This gets pulled from the purchase order prices, so it will be an accurate stock value)
  • Price - Displays the retail price for the product (Pulled from Price Ex located in Manager > Products)
Stock Correction Provides stock corrections made through the Product Manager in the given date range. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Date the stock correction occurred
  • Code - Adjusted Product's Code
  • Amount - Dollar amount (value) that was adjusted (Will remove all value associated with this product, value can be seen on a stock report)
  • Name - Name of product adjusted (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Quantity - The qty of products that were adjusted
  • Employee - What employee made the adjustment
  • Description - Description entered onto the adjustment (If product was deleted, it will indicate Product Deleted)
Suppliers Shows the amount of purchase orders per supplier (received and open). The detail section includes a breakdown by product, including the price paid. Field Descriptions:
  • Summary section:
  • Company - Supplier Company Name (Pulled from Manager > Suppliers)
  • Contact Person - Contact Name from Supplier (Pulled from Manager > Suppliers)
  • Qty Outstanding - Amount of products with this vendor that have been ordered but have not yet been received
  • On Order - Dollar amount of all remaining products (that need to be received) on order with this supplier
  • Quantity Received - Amount of products that have been received so far
  • Received - Dollar amount (value) that has been received for this supplier
  • Tax Paid - Tax paid to this supplier
  • Grand Total - Total amount paid to the vendor (Calculated from this report, Received + Tax = Grand Total)
Details section:
  • PO - Purchase Order number in the system
  • Date - Date the purchase order was recorded
  • Product - Product Code and Name (Pulled directly from Purchase Order, so if order already exists, then the code changes it will still show the old code and name on this report)
  • Qty Outstanding - Detailed view of the qty outstanding number displayed in the summary
  • Qty On Order - Detailed view showing how many are still outstanding
  • Qty Received - Detailed view showing how much value is outstanding for each product
  • Unit Price - The default cost associated with the product at the time it was added to a PO (Note: This seems to cache the default cost value when adding the product to a PO. This means if the default cost gets adjusted after creating a PO, this number will be different)
  • Received - Dollar amount received on the PO already
  • Tax Paid - Tax paid for each product
  • Grand Total - Total value (Received amount) plus tax (Tax Paid) is the grand total
Note; the date range does not work correctly with the sample store.
Tax Displays the amount of taxes received on a day-to-day basis broken down by tax code. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Sale date
  • Due - The amount of sales tax reported for this tax group
  • Tax Sale Amt. - The amount of sales associated with this tax group (selling prices of products)
  • Total Tax Due - Total of all sales taxes due for that day
  • Total Exempt Sales - Reports all sale totals where no sales tax was calculated

Optional Reports

The following are optional, additional reports that are available on our Checkout Extras Page (https://checkoutapp.com/extras).

Product Sales Detail Includes invoice line item detail. (Does not report on Orders and Quotes.) Field Descriptions:
  • Brand - Brand of the product sold (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Code - Displays the code associated with the product (Pulls from Manager > Products)
  • Name - Displays the name of the product (Pulls from the Sale)
  • Invoice - Invoice number associated with this product sold
  • Date - Date of the invoice
  • Employee - Employee who rang up the sale
  • Customer - Customer name associated with the sale (Pulls directly from the sale, Note: If unnamed customer is assigned, it will be blank on this report)
  • Quantity - Number of products sold on this sale
  • Total Cost - Cost associated with this sale (This will either be Avg Cost or FIFO * Qty being sold)
  • Profit - Profit associated with this sale (Actual Margin)
  • Net Sales - Dollar amount total for this product (Formula: Qty * Sell Price = Net Sales)
  • Gross Sales - Gross sales is essentially the Net Sales plus Tax
  • Tax - Amount of tax charged for this product
  • Paid in Full - Will indicate either Yes or No, if it's been paid off yet
  • Retail/Web - Will indicate if the Sale is from Checkout or Enstore
  • Payment Method(s) - Will indicate how it was paid (Note: If more than one payment method was used, both will appear)
Product by Customer Analysis of products sold per customer. Field Descriptions:
  • Customer - Customer Name (Pulled from Sales)
  • Product - Product Name (Pulled from Manager > Products)
  • Amount - Qty of products sold
  • Total per Product - Total price sold per product (Pulls from Sales)
  • % per Product - Displays the percentage of the product that sold
  • Total Qty - Total number of products sold to the customer
  • Total - Total dollar amount in sales related to the customer
  • % per Customer - Percentage of overall sales with this customer
Payment Detail Payment detail of each payment received. Field Descriptions:
  • Date - Invoice date
  • Invoice - Invoice Number
  • Customer - Customer Name (Pulled from the Sale)
  • Debit/Credit - Will indicate either a Debit or Credit (Credits are typically positive sales, Debits are returns or negative sales)
  • Total - Total amount of the sale including tax amounts
  • Paid in Full - Indicates if this invoice has been fully paid yet
  • Paid Cash - How much was paid cash on this invoice
  • Paid Credit Card - How much was paid with Credit Card on this invoice
  • Paid Credit Card Online - How much was paid with an online credit card (need to clarify if this is Forte and Enstore)
  • Paid Debit Card - How much was paid with a Debit Card on this invoice
  • Paid Check - How much was paid with a Check on this invoice
  • Paid Transfer - How much was paid with a Bank Transfer on this invoice
  • Change Due/Returned - How much change was returned to the customer (Note: You need to receive more than needed in order for change to be calculated)
Customer Contact Listing of customers with a link to Google Maps. Field Descriptions:
  • Client - Customer Name (Pulls directly from the CustomerList)
  • Email Address - Customer's email address (Pulls directly from the CustomerList)
  • Phone - Customer's phone number (Pulls directly from the CustomerList)
  • Address - Customer's billing address (Pulls directly from the CustomerList)

Products appear twice on Products Sold Report

If a Product has been deleted, it will still appear on the Products Sold Report. If a product is recreated with the same code, it will print twice on the report since Checkout tracks each as a unique product.

Tax Report, Payments Report

When exported for use in other applications, the Payments and Tax reports do not export totals.
