problems with finding products with variations using barcode scanner
I have entered all my inventory (cosmetics). Many products have variations of colour. each individual colour was scanned and given a bar code. Now when I scan the package's barcode it will not appear in the product list. and I have to find it manually then add it to my sale. The system will recognize products with no variations. Changeing the search option to barcode does not improve the situation.
Aslo Holding control down while selecting products to split them into separate lines on the sale instead of increasing inventory # does not work

Hello beautyclinicmerlenorman,
I am sorry that you are having this problem. Variations are not able to searched at this time and this feature is currently on our list of requests.
When you scan an item on the main sale screen (body of invoice) it will add the product onto the sale, subsequent scans of the same item will increase the quantity on the existing line item. To have the same item show as separate line items, you would need to search the main item (on the product list search) then drag and drop the variation from the product list to the body of the invoice.
