Converting stock from cases to individual units

Our company purchases products in bulk cases which we convert to individual units for sale (e.g. 1 case may have 12 units of product in it). When we place our orders with suppliers, we order cases and so our PO's will show this as will it show in this manner when we receive an order.
What I would like to know is, when we receive an order and add that to inventory, how can we "convert" that case to individual units for sale and record it on the Checkout system?

Thanks
Mike
