Unique Code Created Barcode Will Not Scan
Brief: raw products without codes from my suppliers with no EAN or barcodes.
Scanner: Symbol LS4278
Issue: will not scan or recognise Checkout's created barcode based on my unique codes for each product. *will scan any code that exists on a 'retail ready' product. ie. an existing barcode.
I have attached an example barcode created by Checkout. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: this is a variant product.

Further Comments:
Create: test product with variants
Adjust: variant unique code
Problem: will not scan
I have attached a image to illustrate. I have altered the code based on the variant as this seems logical based on the parent. This is where the issue seems to stem from. Given this, am I to assume that some part of the unique parent code must be maintained?

Hi Jann:
I'm sorry that you're having this issue and am unable to replicate this issue with the code "MAT-006-DB" and the DYMO 99010. It's possible that you're experiencing this issue if you're barcode scanner is not configured to handle Code 93. Could I have you try programming your scanner for Code 93 to see if this resolves your issue.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Andy

code93 barcode scanner is able to scan barcode created by checkout. different barcodes have special scanner to read or scan. you just need the right one for you.
