is there anyway to use an iPad to take credit cards/signatures with this?

Hi Peter,
The ability to take credit card payments/signatures using an IPad is not available with Checkout.

Can I upgrade my OS to El Capitan? I'm using Checkout app 3.6

Hi Luc:
Once we introduced Checkout version 4 last year - we stopped development on all earlier versions of Checkout. Several customers on version 3 had trouble with the earlier Apple operating system Yosemite and had to upgrade Checkout. So I would probably not upgrade to El Capitan unless you're also considering upgrading to Checkout v4. as well.
