Ordering Needed items with variants doesn't show up when checking need only box

I don't want to have to open each products variants to see if there is something needed for order. So far the only way I can get around this is by creating variations by myself. Any ideas would help.

    Hello Ian,

    If I understand correctly, you would like to see what quantities are needed for variations. From the new sale/order screen the products listing will show the main product only and you would need to click the blue arrow to display variations. However, the Stock Report will show you all items including variations, which shows quantity orders, allocated, in stock, and needed. I hope this helps.
