IV. Getting Support

Introductory Support

With the purchase of your software, you are entitled to 1 month of free Introductory Support from the time you register the software. This free Introductory Support includes assistance with Checkout installation and setup and is available Monday to Friday, from 9 am until 6 pm EST.

Self Help

There are several options for you to find answers to some more common issues. First is the ability to use the Help menu build into the Checkout software. That will provide answers to some of the more frequently asked questions you may encounter while working within your store. The next option would be for you to visit our website at www.myob-us.com and looking through the online knowledge base for help.

Checkout Support and Maintenance Plan

A Checkout Support and Maintenance plan provides you with telephone support and the ability to submit support cases online. This plan also provides you with any new versions of the software as well as updates to the Checkout software released during your membership period. These plans keep your Checkout software up to date, provide complete access to our support team and help you to run your store as efficiently as possible. Pricing is listed below:

  • $29.99 per month for a single base support license.
  • $9.99 per month for each additional support license.

Online Case Submission

One of the benefits of enrolling in a Checkout Support and Maintenance plan is the ability to create a case and submit it to the support team. To do so, simply log into your account online by visiting www.myob-us.com and then choosing the option to create a case. Once the case has been created, it is typically responded to within 1 to 2 business days.

Pay-per-Call Telephone Support

If you are not enrolled in a Checkout Support and Maintenance plan but you still require telephone support, you can call MYOB Customer Service.

A credit card will be required to pay for the charges, which are as follow:

  • $50.00 minimum charge includes up to 10 minutes of support.
  • $5.00 for each additional minute beyond the initial 10 minutes.
