12. Managing Your Shipping

12.1 Setting up Shipping

If you offer shipping, you can create shipping services and add them to Orders and Quotes created in Checkout. You'll also be able to optionally have tax applied to the shipping price.

12.2 Creating Shipping Methods

First, open the Manager Window. Once there, click on Shipping. In the bottom-left corner, click on the plus (+) sign. This will create a new shipping service titled “Unnamed”. To the right of the shipper list is the details section. Here, you will want to provide the name of the shipping method, the carrier, default price and any taxes that apply to the shipping price. You can always come back here to edit the information in this screen if need-be. For more information on that, see below.

12.3 Editing A Shipping Method

If you need to edit a Shipping method, click on the name of the method you intend to edit in the list to the left. Then, go to the details section on the right side of the window and key over any information you need to change. Once you have completed making the necessary changes, simply close out of the window and your changes will have been saved.

12.4 Deleting a Shipping Method

If you need to delete a Shipping method, click on the name of the method you intend to delete in the list to the left. Next, at the bottom-left corner of this screen, click on the minus (-) sign. This will pull up a prompt that ask you if this is the Shipping method you wish to delete. If everything checks out and you want to remove this shipping method from your list, click the Delete button. If this Shipping method is used on any Orders, you be be prevented from deleting it until the method has been removed from those Orders.
