Add-Correct Stock Quantity

Add Stock

Use Purchase Orders to add product quantity. Create Purchase Orders in the Stock Room. Depending on your account configuration, completed Purchase Orders will update your Stock Inventory and your Accounts Payable accounts.

Stock Corrections

A Stock Correction typically posts to the Shrinkage/Spoilage (expense) account in Checkout. If Stock Corrections are done in Checkout to receive stock items, you need to be aware that such corrections are posted to the expense account.

Stock Cost

You can enter stock cost when you make stock corrections. The entered cost will be used to determine Cost of Sales values when products are sold, according to the costing method (FIFO or Average) selected.
